[/et_pb_code][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.12.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]Alright folks, today we’ll take a look at May cotton, May cotton CT is the ticker on most platforms. And this is the area that we are coming into. So this is based off a 515 and 30 year historical price perspective. Notice that they all nicely converge right here at the end of February, early March, and then they all trade in tandem to the downside, into about mid April or so. So we’re looking at potential topping patterns. This is a continuous chart on cotton. Notice that we are plotting a head and shoulders top hit here at basically structure. If we take a look at the monthly that we want to trade, it’s going to be May, CT k, k is a symbol for May. So we’re looking at the May 22 contracts, we feel like cotton has gotten a bit extended, we know based off of this very, very strong seasonality that we have a likely top that can occur around this time now you got to be cognizant of potential export issues and things going on with the world macro news at the moment. But right now, this reversal looks like we are potentially going to be heading back lower to the downside. Now there is an ETF ba L that you can trade it tracks the cotton market, it’s not going to be as liquid, it’s a little bit more thin, but it can certainly provide you some exposure. So right here on VA, we’re looking to for short around the $70 mark. Our next targets are going to be down here at the 62 level on ba L. So that’s what we’re going to take a look at NBA l I’ll likely be participating in this trade the options on cotton futures, I’m going to be doing a free presentation called Spot the big money moves with this new strategy on Friday, February 25.
